Today at Nice we were out of the office for LFW. We visited the Topman Design show hosted at the Royal Opera House - and it was fantastic! The collection, with retro print silk shirts tucked into tweed suits with chunky knit socks and heavily buckled vintage belts, looked straight out of the 1950s. Beautiful heritage fabric was used, such as heavy tweed, but with a slight rockabilly edge to it. Fur trimmed coats and fox stoles brought a more luxurious look to the catwalk, then classic topcoats worn over jacquard evening suits and waist coats moved the day into the night... NICE!
